The Perfect Serving Temperature for Wines

Have you ever finally picked up that perfect bottle of Chardonnay for your dinner later that night, then realized that you aren't sure how to chill it properly? Most of the time I just throw it in the fridge and hope it's chilled enough for dinner, but sometimes, I want to ensure that the bottle is served at the perfect temperature. When wine is at is ideal temp, the flavors become highlighted, which will ensure that you notice the blueberry or pepper notes that all of the sommeliers taste.

Finding the right serving temperature for your wine can be like Goldilocks and her porridge, if it's too hot, the alcohol and tannic flavors of the wine are pronounced, and if it's too cold, the flavors can be muted and there will be less notes of acidity and fruit. We don't want either of those things to happen, so check out our handy guide on what temperature of our wines should be served at, and enjoy!
