About: As our first Redwood Empire Chardonnay, we wanted to showcase the quality of Sonoma County wines. Sonoma County is one of California’s premier regions for Chardonnay, thanks to its unique combination of cooling Pacific influences, diverse soils, and abundant sunshine. These conditions result in wines are celebrated for their bright fruit character, refreshing structure, and versatility, making them approachable and enjoyable.
Tasting Notes: Pleasant aromas of apple, peach and lemon introduce you to this easy drinking Chardonnay. A soft entry of supple apple and light oak notes, give way to balanced tannins and good acid. An easy drinking Chardonnay.
Winemaking: This wine was aged on multiple strains of yeast in 75% neutral barrels and 25% stainless steel tanks, which give a balanced, yet fruit forward Chardonnay. It did not go through malolactic fermentation.
