We decided to plant Vermentino on Las Brisas Vineyard after a trip to Italy, and found it to be beautifully suited to Carneros. As a limited production wine, our 2022 Vermentino was fermented in stainless steel, accentuating bright grapefruit and lime aromas with a hint of minerality that reminds us of rain drops hitting concrete. Pronounced flavors of green apple, peach and pear finish with a touch of lime curd, both refreshing and smooth. Vermentino is our number one pick for a summertime seafood pairing.
