To create this wine, we select Chardonnays from our estate vineyards and ferment in barrel. Delicate flavors are preserved through whole cluster pressing, and prolonged yeast contact adds both texture and subtle toast aromas. In order to preserve acidity for meal pairing, we did not put this wine through malolactic.
Caramel apple aromas are accented with oak characteristics that make you want to curl up and share this fireside. Brown sugar, pineapple and wood spice give way to a structured balance on the palate.

"A nice combination of ripe fruits and moderate butteriness make this full-bodied wine appealing in flavor and smooth in texture. It offers good concentration, good balance and a lingering finish, too."
– Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast
