We decided to plant Vermentino on Las Brisas Vineyard after a trip to Italy, and found it to be beautifully suited to Carneros. As a limited production wine, our 2021 Vermentino was fermented in stainless steel, accentuating bright grapefruit and lime aromas with a hint of minerality that reminds us of rain drops hitting concrete. Pronounced flavors of green apple, peach and pear finish with a touch of lime curd, both refreshing and smooth. Vermentino is our number one pick for a summertime seafood pairing.

"Rather lean, light and crisp, this bracing wine offers attractive parsley and thyme aromas, celery and jicama flavors, and a refreshing, nicely acidic balance. It's just the thing as an aperitif, or with salads and seafood."
– Jim Gordon, Wine Enthusiast
